Storyteller

This was for...um, I can't remember, but they were very nice people. This is an eccentric storyteller lady who had to fit within this tiny narrow space in the margin of the page she was on. This also marks one of the very few times I've ever drawn fingernails in my entire life.
I just noticed that she has no eyebrows. Tragic.
I must buy my wife a pair of stockings like these.

My Little Pony

This can only be interpreted as a cry for help.

A fluffy bunny encased in carbonite.
This one's definitely going on a t-shirt.

ape

I forgot that I wasn't going to sketch this week. So I drew a small ape with a ginormous head.

old stuff part 1

Since it's a million degrees this week, and I've got a load of other work, I'm going to forego sketching in the mornings and post some old peices that I like. This is a greeting card I did for Recycled Paper Greetings a while back. It is my future.

KBRD radio

He's got his tunes, his lunchbox, and a sense of defeated resignation. He's ready for another day in the uranium mines.

By the way, the older images aren't loading right now due to a server glitch. They'll be back after these commercial messages.

I drew this a million years ago. But I like it.

awkward tension

Some sort of little drama is about to unfold here. I have no idea what it is. If we're lucky, they might burst into song. Unlucky, Jerry Springer.

The old woman looks like she's levitating.

Monkey Tripod

The Martians really just want our bananas.

I liked him so much, I decided to finish painting him. A big welcome to our new simian overlords!

raining zeppelins

This morning I got one of those spam emails with the paragraph of nonsense down at the bottom, which included the phrase "The Zeppelins Rain Down Upon Us."
That sentence was truly worthy of illustration.

fat max

My cat has been switched to the cheap cat food. Also, he steals the dog's food. And he steals bread. And eats the trash. This is a barely exaggerated sketch of his current physique.

Slim

The rough'nest, tough'nest hombre west of the pecos. And he's fully confident in his choice of headgear, thank you.

Big Blob Wheel

A Big Blob on a Big Blob Wheel. His name is Bob the Big Blob. Oh, wait, no it's not, it's Steven. Never mind.

monobot

First sketch for a little guy to go with my future t-shirt website, monobot.com. He's going to need a few revisions. He's not squat enough. A good monobot needs to be squat.
